About the Event

From Seed to Series X to Exit.

The Startup Finance Conference is the first Canadian conference focused specifically on entrepreneurial and venture finance. Attendees are given access to speakers and workshops that will elevate their understanding of trends, best practices and actionable specifics needed to get a venture funded from seed to series X to exit. Participants will leave with a roadmap that they can use to guide their startups and ventures through the complex world of finance.

Real Industry Leaders

The event speakers include some of Canada’s and the world’s most active investors, including Angels, VCs, Private Equity, Growth Capital and M&A experts from storied names such as Blackrock, Neo Exchange and YCombinator. The experts will conduct panels organized by stage of funding that are hyper-focused on practical advice to get a venture funded, including required documents, typical due diligence and terms / valuations.

No Fluff.

The startup finance conference is not your typical conference. No giant venues. No celebrity performers. No “TV star” investors.

Our goal is simple. Take a group of serious entrepreneurs and give them close quarter access to real active investors to get detailed, specific and actionable information on what it takes to get a business financed.

We have carefully limited our venue size and attendance to insure our attendees get the opportunity to derive full value from the event.

We promise you:

small workshops with one on one time with the coach or mentor

real networking opportunities with speakers and panelists

a chance to connect and grow with fellow serious entrepreneurs
